It looks to me like the players don't believe in Amorim and his tactics. TBH neither do I. Dorgu on the right while we have the useless Dalot on the left. Amorim persists in playing right footers on the left and left footers on the right. It makes no sense.

Dear Andy, as someone who is in the know, has contact with managment and staff, ex reds and jornos can you PLEASE find out why on earth Dorgu was played out of position at right wing back? We have had Dalot play there almost all season, out of postion. We were desperate for a left footed, left wing back. We buy one (Dorgu) and the management and staff decide to play him at right wing back and kept Dalot (who is a right wing back) at left wing back!!! Seriously WTF is up? I love Ruben and will back him all the way, but this seriously needs to question him! Why and for what purpose did he do that? We had zero balance in the team all game. It's a f*ckin joke right? Amorim is not this blind, right? If Dorgu had been played at left centre back then i get it as he is filling in. But he chose to put Yoro there who struggled and then in the second half swapped him for Maz who also kinda struggled. We could barely string two passes together for most of the game. There is ZERO balance in our team. Amad who is left footed plays on the right (who was poor on the night) and Garna who is right footed plays on the left!!! I could go on and on through out the team. Much was the same under ETH. Garna did his best but everything seems forced and unnatural for him when on the left. Anyway, getting back to my point, WTF is up with the manager and staff. It's such and obvious fix for us and i don't know why he didn't do this?

was in the stretford end witth my son, we come up regulary from surrey to watch united..and not for tthe first time we had a local get aggressive with uus when he realised we were southern, ive supported united for over 40 years and havee in the last few years started attending relgular home matches - this is not the first time wev felt uncomfortable once locals have realised we're nott local...clucb has many issues around ownership, but no wonder it struggles when even fans will get at each other and create division in t he fan base! we ceertainly aint glory hunteers we come cos we love the club, shame there are a minority that are happy to make others uncomfortable rather than join together to support the team

Dalot is an appalling left sided player, either he starts on the right or he starts on the bench. I've given up on Hojlund, he lacks the instinct a striker needs to be in the right place at the right time, and that's something you can't coach into a player. If Amorim is going to go down the ten Hag route of playing left sided players on the right and vice-versa then he'll find himself on the dole like ten Hag, and deservedly so. This team is dire to watch, the build up is slow and sideways, and every time we face a team playing a high press we constantly give the ball away. The rumours that Garnacho and Mainoo could be leaving in the last transfer window were very worrying, if United have become a club that sells its best young players if decent money is on the table then I reckon it might be time to become one of the armchair brigade after 40+ years of supporting them from the stands. Interesting times.

Amorim not helping himself by playing with inverted wingbacks/wingers. Get Dorgu onto the left wing back and play Mazroui or Dalot at right wing back. Make the pitch bigger in the opponents half, not smaller and easier to defend against. It's not rocket science.

Harsh on Amad, who was at least trying to make things happen and challenging his oppo full-back. Wasn't the most effective, but some of that was also team-mates failing to position themselves for the cut-back or cross. I'd say 6, minimum (or 6.5 but I know Andy doesn't do half points). Dalot, if anything, was more of a 5: so frustrating to see him as a left WB again and not taking on his opp FB or even midfielders coming wide to challenge.. Agree with the rest though...

United ain't going anywhere. Amorim is not going to put us back on track nor is INEOS. The same mess over and over. INEOS renewed ETH, then sacked him, then brought in RA who is showing the same cluelessness ETH showed during his tenure. The team doesn't have a style of play, can't win games, it's poor poor poor. Players do not develop under these managers... ETH brought in Lisandro, Antony, de Ligt and were supposed to be able to develop young talents... Garnacho remaing rough, Mainoo is still rough, Rasmus the same. What is Amorim doing apart from looking good? Buys a LWB to play him in right side... Lad is lost, United is lost.

yoro is better on the left, maguire is to slow, mazroui was ok on the right, ugate good fernandes ok mainoo poor and was at fault for the goal dalots passing is poor but plays better with garnacho when garno goes out wide and dalot comes inside, dorgu good debut amad sloppy at times hojlund poor zirkzee good touches and is working harder. I can't understand when people complain about dorgu playing on the right as an inverted wingback when they love amad and quenda who we are linked with both play as inverted wingbacks, the only thing I would say is not to play inverted number 10s when playing inverted wingbacks

why buy a left sided wing back then play him on the right...I'm beginning to become concerned about some of Amorims thinking, like putting Mainoo as a false 9,and when Palace sussed it after 20 mins did nothing to change it. Really good managers can change tactics when thinks aren't working, but Amorim says he won't change, we'll if we keep slipping down the table, how are we gonna attract good players to the club?

Heat pumps are shite, i'll stick to my gas supply thank you very much Mr Mitten. Solar Panels on the other hand...now those are worth it. But there's no real subsidies/grants for those anymore, hence why the tradies are flogging govt subsidised heat pumps....the tech in which will be redundant in 5-10 years anyway. £6k solar panel system with a battery is saving me £850 a year...much better investment.

I thought Dalo was definitely worse than Yoro. Like most of the times the ball went to him out on the wing in the first half he was afraid to turn and do something, and instead he'd just pass it straight back again, and recycle possession. Then the one or two times he did try to turn he lost the ball. I think he needs to be braver on the ball, and his teammates also need to get into positions to give him better options.

4 is harsh on Hojlund when you acknowledge that his winger are choosing not to give him opportunities even when he's in a great position. He held the ball up well to start the 1st goal run, made a few good passes as well. Certainly not the worst performance on the pitch..

Andy, I’ve been watching and following United since 1970, I’ve seen many ups and downs including relegation, but this group of players, the manager and the owners all have me dumfounded. I thought I’d never say this, but I think I’m starting to fall out of love with this club. Just hope it turns around soon. GGMU.

Piss poor in all areas.Bottom of the table sides come and outplay us on our own turf.We start so bad,sloppy passing lack of desire and intensity.This has been going on for so long now.Unfortunately we aren't seeing any improvement in any of our play since Amorim came.Lets hope he's the right choice in the long run.Marks wise apart from Garnacho in the second half and possibly Maguire the lot of them get a 4.Woeful.Manager gets a 4 also.

The players are struggling because of either two things, morale, anxiety, or the system is not comfortable. I think it is a combination of all three. The one thing that all teams and coaches need to have is flexibility. This is the mangers weak point, and all managers have a weak point. But this manager needs to broaden his views of the premiership, this is not Portugal. It is the toughest, quickest most demanding league in the world . Any weakness is severely punished. I stiil think Rasmus will get it right. A win, is a win, is a win.
